You just need to import an m3u file using USB flash drive onto your Openbox v8s and the job is finished, but there are two ways that you can do this setup. The first method is a common way, uploading the file from the WebTV app menu. When that method doesn\u2019t work or you don\u2019t have the \u201cRead By USB\u201d option on WebTV App page, the m3u file must be uploaded through Upgrade page located on Tools menu of Openbox.\u00a0What is M3U?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommendation<\/strong>: We suggest you rename the m3u file of your m3u line into WebTV.m3u meaning if your m3u file is like \u201cname.m3u\u201d you simply change \u201cname\u201d to \u201cWebTV\u201d and leave the format be as m3u. The WebTV app reads m3u files with WebTV.m3u name properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have any problems viewing the Channels we recommended that you restart your Openbox and Wi-Fi Router.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to add IPTV channels to Openbox<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1<\/strong>: Follow these tasks: 
1-Connect the USB containing the Web.m3u file
2-Open Menu
3-Move right all the way to \u201cMultimedia<\/strong>\u201d
4-From the list choose \u201cWebTV<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 2<\/strong>: If there are channels already on that list, make sure that empty by pressing the green button: Del All. <\/strong>Now press the yellow button to \u201cRead By USB<\/strong>\u201d then the channels will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 3<\/strong>: If you don\u2019t have<\/strong> the yellow option \u201d Read by USB<\/strong>\u201d, go back to the main menu and select \u201cTools<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 4<\/strong>: Now select \u201cUpgrade By USB<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 5<\/strong>: On the next page, change Upgrade Mode to \u201cMisc Files<\/strong>\u201d and from the bottom of the list choose \u201cSelect & Upgrade<\/strong>\u201d. Now press OK<\/strong> on it.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 6<\/strong>:\u00a0From the window that pops up, select \u201cWebTV.m3u (Web Stream)<\/strong>\u201d and you must make sure a green tik appears on the right side. Afterward, press the yellow button to\u00a0Upgrade.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the process is done, you will see a message saying \u201cUpgrade Finished. Press Info Key for Result<\/strong>\u201d. Now press exit twice to head back to the main menu and from Multimedia<\/strong> open WebTV app <\/strong>and the channels will appear on the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
